Christmas isn’t a Season. It’s a feeling.

-Ms. Mural Rebello

Christmas week was celebrated in the Primary and Kg section from 12th December to 19th December 2017 to usher in the spirit of Christmas. All the classes were beautifully decorated with Christmas symbols – stars, candles, Christmas tree, crib etc. by the tiny tots of the Kg and the Primary section.          During the Christmas week, caring and sharing was evident with a generous contribution of stationery articles like towels, bed sheets, soaps etc. for the needy people – a great amount of these would later be sent to the railway and street children at Jeevodaya, Itarsi- Madhya Pradesh.                                                On 18th December the students gathered in the Bianchi hall for a Christmas Symposium. The theme for this celebration was “God’s love Shines through the darkest night”. Through a sea of emotions, a wave of cheer enveloped the scene of the program that began with the welcome speech and a prayer. The children of the Primary section enacted the Christmas play depicting the true essence of love, joy and peace, along with the singing of carols by the choir. The children also enjoyed the dance to the beats of “Jingle bells and Rocking around the Christmas tree”.  Fr. Principal shared the message of Christmas “Caring, sharing and giving to the underprivileged”. The entry of Santa Claus yielded the much awaited cheer and excitement among the audience.

The program provided an added opportunity for the students to understand the true meaning of Christmas.
