Appreciation Day (Stds. I – IV) and Farewell (Std. IV)

19 March, 2017

-Ms. Mohini Goshi & Ms. Pearl Lobo

It is very well said that, “A person who feels appreciated will always strives to do the best, more than what is expected.” This was beautifully expressed by the students of Stds. I and II for the members of the management and their teachers on Appreciation Day held on 17th March. The students of Stds III and IV assembled for their Appreciation Day and Farewell for Std IV on the next day, 18th March 2017.

The management and the students received a warm welcome from the students.  The students than invited the members of the management to light the lamp. A short but meaningful prayer service was conducted by the students followed by the hymn ‘ Thanking God’.

During the program, Rev Fr. Rector and Rev Fr. Principal spoke to the students and they encouraged them and asked them to continue and keep up the good work that they are doing. The Rector and the Principal gave away the certificates to the students who excelled at the different competitions during the year.

The Appreciation Day for Stds. III and IV was clubbed together with the Farewell for the students of Std. IV who were now moving on to the Secondary section. The Captain of the Primary school took an oath on behalf of the boys of Std IV, to live up to the values instilled by the teachers. Mrs. Shahnaaz Abbas delivered a good bye message to Std IV on behalf of all the staff. The students of Std IV wore their Graduation hats and marched through the arch, and as they moved out of the hall, they were wished good luck and success in the future.

This day was indeed a memorable day for the students.
