Our Nature Club students visited the Dr. Babasaheab Ambedkar Udyan at Powai once again, on the 20th of August, 2016, along with students from eleven other schools. Mr. Vishal, from the B.N.H.S. and the resource person for the day, made the students aware of the water pollution that leads to Eutrophication problem (algal bloom) and the history of the famous Mithi river of Mumbai which originates from Powai lake. The nature trip integrated a stopover at the lesser known Powai dam, as also a visit to the Powai lake. On the way, members of the Greenline Organisation eagerly provided information of the flora and fauna abounding in that area.As the picture amply testify, the trip proved to be an enjoyable and a learning experience for all the participants
